Hello,

I really like the large bronze and silver french medals. I cannot seem to find any online or book source that shows history, mintages, etc about these medals. Does anyone know where to find resource material for these medals?

Here's a primary book you'll want if sticking to French examples. It's nicely done and has lots of medallic history.

I have that book. There is the undesired/desired (?) side effect of finding things you want to buy...

I have a weakness for Art Deco and that book covers it well. My single most expensive medal is solely due to that book. Found it there. Took photos of it. Showed it around a bunch and a few months after a NYINC someone contacted me about it. Needless to say I had little negotiating power  (From this old thread: https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/999904/why-nyinc-is-still-being-good-to-me-but-not-my-checkbook#latest:// )
