eBay App- New Search Results for saved searches

In the app you get that nice blue dot to tell you there are new results for that search. In the past week the dot is always present and it just keeps showing the old items mixed in with any new items. It will still show even if there aren’t any new results.

I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I am on an iPhone. Anyone else having this issue?

I did not have any issue at all until you mentioned it, and now I can't make the blue dot go away! Please make it go away!!!...Ha!

Must be a just occurring glitch starting this morning. I have the app on an Android phone. I seem to recall this being a short lived issue for me at least once before, but only for short duration.

Back to normal for me on the blue dot. For about 30 minutes, I would check my saved searches and the blue dot would remain indicating new items when there were none, even if I refreshed the page or backed all the way out first. It is back to working properly now, and the blue dot has disappeared. I hope the issue has cleared up for you, also.

Same here. Went away for a few days now same problem again today.

I don’t feel it has to do with the sponsored items. The blue dots just won’t go away. Blue dot appears, I go into the search and instead of just showing new items it will show maybe a new item, maybe not, mixed with all the stuff I have previously viewed.

Sounds like it is not just me. This has happened before a few times...

I have even deleted a saved search and it comes back! Maybe I will log into the website and delete it there...

Ha. I just noticed this too and have become a bit ticked seeing the blue dot pop again believing fresh cards are being listed.

It worked fine for me last night and this morning. Did your app update recently? Mine last updated June 27th.

ETA: I've had the same problem in the past for a couple days and it took an app update to resolve IIRC.

No update recently. Version 5.33.0 on the iPhone. No update available.

I will get a dot beside the saved search if a single new item comes available, but when I open it, there are like 5 or 6 items, all of which are marked "Sponsored." So it's my understanding that these "Sponsored" items will appear in my saved search each time a new item pops up. Annoying. I've seen the same "Sponsored" item dozens of times. I still don't want to buy it.

They need to allow for MORE saved searches. No reason to restrict at such a small number.
