I am still waiting on a response from a PM to @HeatherBoyd on whether or not to resubmit my last two 49/6 H10C that were not attributed.
I assume it will take some time for PCGS to make the adjustment but I suppose the first noticeable indicator will be the change in the registry set composite.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
It appears that the 1849/8 H10C has been removed from CoinFacts. I tried pulling up an old link for the 1849/8 H10C ( https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1849-8-h10c/4343 ) and it redirected me to the 1849/6.
Here are the updated links the 1849 H10C presently listed in CoinFacts;
I have a PCGS attributed (incorrectly) 1849/8 H10C in my Type Set, I wonder how the re-identification process will be put into place?
I am confused. The second and third are the same die in different die states, the third one being the earlier die state. The fourth and fifth are the same die.

Immediately before seeing these new posts, I was just looking at the registry and saw something odd and just now finished sending a PM to the Set Registry Manager. It seems to be related to this. Check out the registry entries and tell me what you think....
Here's the PM I sent:
Greetings
In the "Liberty Seated Half Dimes Complete Variety Set, Circulation Strikes (1837-1873)" registry It lists the following:
I'm a bit confused as the item and date columns reflect different coins. As I'm sure you know there has been some recently announced changes regarding the recognition of these varieties in the Cherrypicker's Guide. To be honest I'm not sure if the above registry entries have always been like this or if a recent change was made and it's an error?
There is a similar situation in the "Liberty Seated Half Dimes with Major Varieties, Circulation Strikes (1837-1873)" registry.
Please let me know when you get an opportunity. Thanks!
One thing I forgot to mention is the PCGS numbers are missing from that column as well. Maybe this is just a preliminary update and the PCGS numbers are temporarily in limbo? I have some that will fill these slots but for now they're not entered. I'm waiting to see the newly announced variety adjustment recognized so I can have the coins re-holdered with new labels reflecting the change. I just hope the new registry update is clear, concise, and not confusing.
In other words I would imagine the registry entries should look like this and any reference to 1849/8 should be eliminated:
The third and fifth are the same variety as the second and fourth...just listed as the Cherry Pickers Guide F.S. numbers...plus a $18 attribution fee...versus FREE if it is a Red Book listed, major variety.

I'm more confused.... I don't see a fifth. I'm talking about the registry, not the CPG.

I can add another attributed (V-1 note the 184 touching the underside of the rock pedestal) to the listing;
Our host agreed on the variety 1849/6
I think it is time to start labeling these as "1849/846 V-1 EDS" instead of just "184 touches rock."
