I hope Colin and Nike are both offended enough to move right out of the country. Even though “They” spin it to say they are not disrespecting the Flag draped caskets of fallen Military and LE... 🤬🤮

    Pasted:

Crispus Attucks ( c. 1723 – March 5, 1770) was an American stevedore of African and Native American descent, widely regarded as the first person killed in the Boston Massacre and thus the first American killed in the American Revolution.

I know the OP thinks he’s owning the libs, but whatever. I’m not offended (or a lib), but I am wondering what the hell this has to do with sports talk.

Here, I’ll make it kosher. The Dodgers have won their last 5 home games in walk-off fashion. The first 3 were won with home runs by 3 different rookies, which is a MLB record. Their next walk-off featured 5 consecutive walks with 2 outs. And then last night Cody Bellinger hit a bomb in the 10th to send the fans home in a happy mood.

I’m officially rooting for the Dodgers if they play the Yankees in the World Series, old school Yanks vs Dodgers .

I wonder how offense this is to scumbags like Kap? It’s just my girlfriends 2 year old Nephew learning at a young age to be patriotic 🇺🇸😊

Well we could commit to balls and strikes and interceptions and $40,000,000 contacts, but sports are more than that. Even those that grouse at the $9 beers and the poor officiating and the crybaby athletes still keep an eye on the games even if it a flip through the Sunday sports section or 15 minutes on this forum.

In America, professional and amateur athletic events are in our fiber. Heroes like Pat Tillman and dopes like Colin K are a vibrant part of the discussion well after their playing days have ended.

Last night the Dodgers treated their fans to something different - a drama-free victory. In the game, Cody Bellinger hit his 30th bomb, which broke his own Dodgers record (set the night before) for most home runs hit before the All-Star break. The previous record of 28 was owned by Duke Snider and Gil Hodges.

No, Dan, I didn’t. That’s not how I roll. Too bad you weren’t around during the CBT days. You would understand me much better if you had been part of that dumpster fire.

Jon, I’m not nearly as old as you! Lol

Born in ‘66, so was alive then, but wholly ignorant of any of that hellish mess. I served from ‘84-‘90. No wars to speak of then.

Dimeman was actually in the Revolutionary War.

I've heard that he was a pretty good shot with a Kentucky rifle.

I think the choice of word may have meant to be vehemently.

But what do I know, I got permanently booted out of school in the first grade because I kept spelling my name steve instead of the right way stevek.
