Gold Panama Pattern (1982)

I like the simplicity of this pattern piefort coin, struck in gold and undated but known to be from 1982. The reverse is blank.

I was a bit surprised at the grade, GTG if you'd like....

Is this Franklin Mint via Louis Hudson?

Actually, not Franklin Mint dies and not ex-Hudson. I will post the error Panama 1/10 from him later today.
IMO, the obverse was not fully struck as opposed to wear...

Patterns generally get SP grades, so they will not designate CAM. Of course, they may designate this a proof.
