I have one I’m going to sell. Local coin shop made me an offer. Anyone here looking for a 2007? I saw they were the lowest mintage but they didn’t even care what year it was at the shop.

    no disrespect, but do people really buy bullion for its numismatic value??

    @Lulo90 Sometimes... take a look at a 1991 Gold $25 Eagle which is a bullion coin and certainly sells for much higher than spot. I'll bet there's lots of others..

    So someones best bet is to sell the coin at an auction or ebay, a coin shop wont pay that at all. they seem to only pay bullion.

    No, you are right about that! For that, you are better off with straight bullion... But, a dealer will pay you spot for that $25 GAE, and then enjoy the real market price for that coin!
