It doesn’t matter how old you are, what matters is how ripped you are.
You'd think a guy like you could afford a nicer lounge chair.
No way bro. That’s Koa wood and a custom made chair to his specs too. Look how it fits him like a glove.
Now how he lets his patio look so sketchy with grass growing out of the cracks Is a different question. Needs to hire a new lawn guy. Paging @lawnmowerman

Nice catch! The average, ordinary person wouldn't notice that. However coming from a card guy, with your attention to detail, I wouldn't expect anything less. Two things that separate a good lawn company from an average one are weed control and hedge trimming. One is tough and one is time consuming and pricey due to roundup cost.
You know, I knew a guy who used to cruise around his neighborhood on a old John Deere riding mower all the time drunk. I think he ended up getting a DUI on it.
Have vivid memories of dad bringing home 1972 Sunoco stamps, opening 1975 Topps mini packs, and dumpster diving for 1976 RC Cola cans. Also downed a Slurpee or 2 in my day in order to get the plastic player cup.

Got really into Garbage Pail Kids
I completely forgot about these. I was into them, too, between 1985 and 1987. They were very enjoyable to put sets together.
I wish I had gotten into them just a bit earlier. When I started, they were already on Series 3 and couldn't find Series 1 and 2 anywhere. It was a lot of fun, though. Wet the appetite for opening packs before getting into baseball.

DBesse, let’s meet up at the Natty and you can verify the guns in person.
I think there is another forum for this type of "meeting".
Collecting PSA 9's from 1970-1977. Raw 9's from 72-77. Raw 10's from '78-'83. Collecting Unopened from '72-'83; mostly BBCE certified boxes/cases/racks. Prefer to buy in bulk.
You're all kids. The first cards I collected were 39 Playballs. At that time there was only ONE team, The Phila A's.
The others didn't count. Will be 90 in Aug. I remember having a Ted Williams card. Didn't know who he was and didn't care but figured he must be somebody because everybody was trying to get it from me. Got back into collecting when my son became interested. Continued long after he lost interest. Loads of stories and experiences along the way. The best being meeting Ted Williams, who became my favorite. through a good friend who was a good friend of Willliams, Red Sox coach Bill Slack. Still in the process of selling the stuff I have left. Goes to prove you're never too old.
Seattle boy here. I'm a big kid & proud of it. About to turn 37. Was into cards 'n comics with my dad & brother. I grew further away from collecting as I got older with the military & life in general. Got back into it around 2011 collecting my childhood heroes - Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott, Walter Payton, Gale Sayers, Bo, William "The Fridge" Perry (a lot of Bears), Magic & Bird, & of course Michael Jordan. Decided to focus on MJ & here I am.
Ive had a ton of fun in this hobby & have learned a lot. Met a lot of cool & interesting collectors (a few shady ones too).
I'm new on this forum but so far I've enjoyed seeing all of your collections & projects. You guys seem supportive & passionate about collecting & although there's a lot going on in the hobby I'm glad to be a collector here. Cheers.

I'm all about that Jordan stuff. Cards, stickers, posters & whatever else is cool. The rarer the better. And always in a PSA 10 if I can help it.
Any other big Jordan nuts out there let me know.
33 here. First packs were 1991 Donruss baseball and 1992 Topps basketball when I was 7. Started ramping up collecting in my teen years during the wax bubble. Started getting cards graded with PSA in 1999. Took a break in college to spend more money on girlfriends and going out. Returned again in 2009.
