That seller’s history doesn’t look like that of a scammer. What is your basis for that accusation?

Who is insulted? I don't get your point.

Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

Nothing read the title you must not know who he is talking about or you would fully understand.

    Oh, boy... Where's the door?

For all those who are unfamiliar with the seller. He is known to sell "monster" toned morgan dollars, but juices all of his images, as well as filters them to enhance the color. I put quotations around "monster" because he talks his coins up, by an unbelievable amount. I have seen several of, the world's single best toned morgan dollars from this individual seller!

It's unclear to me he's talking about a "who" or using "Aurora Borealis" as the general atmospheric light show term.

There is a "Aurora Borealis" on the PCGS Set Registry but that AB only has Indian Head cents posted.

    https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/aurora-borealis/othersets/16694

Not sure either are in reference to our forum member @AuroraBorealis.

You started the thread accusing the seller of being a scammer. My guess is that he simply used the term “Aurora Borealis” to describe the appearance of the coin he’s selling. And that you incorrectly assumed the coin belonged to the poster, who goes by that name, here.

Yeah, color me confused too. There's a bit of hype in the auction description, but that hardly makes him unique. Maybe I've even done a bit of that in my sale descriptions. ;)

Interesting, never thought to check there. I wonder what's the reason for not putting on the PCGS Registry, a lot of NGC coins?

Do you know if the Aurora Borealis PCGS Registry Set is owned by our same AB?

I don't know this seller, but they are a PNG member. Has the PNG taken any action against this seller?

I would be surprised if what you are reading is true I sure he is not a PNG member with the ethics that goes on.

I believe that I understand, just fine, including that it was irresponsible of you to call him a “scammer”. But at least you edited your post.

You might need to spell it out for us. What, exactly, is the point of your post? Before you answer, I might caution you to take a trip through the forum rules.

If there's something here that you're trying to share with the rest of us, it might help to be less cryptic about your intentions.

I personally got scammed from him ( well he tried) I returned a coin that was completely enhanced and he tried to say I alter the coin in a PCGS holder LOL I had to wait a while but did get my money back. Do not take this so personal if you new what the seller has done and what he is stating you would understand just move on sorry if I offended you .

Ah. You got you're money back but you're still sore about something.

It would be interesting to hear his side of the story.

    Yawn.

Are you saying he’s trying to make a comparison to the Northern Lights collection recently sold by Legend? Or, perhaps that he’s referencing our own @AuroraBorealis, who frequently posts beautiful Morgan’s here??

I see nothing more than a passing reference to a well-known colorful natural phenomenon. Sorry. I’m not seeing the scandal here.
