I know the feeling. There are a few that I really wish I would have attended/participated in. My top choice is the Hal Walls collection of Trade coinage in 1997. You can look back at these catalogs and salivate.

I wish I could have participated in the 1996 Alexander Patterson auction. However, It occurred during a dormant period in my collecting, I probably wouldn't have been aware of the auction and wouldn't have had much money anyway,
