Why have many PSA items and a few cards from other grading services.

    Never

I never do. Rather buy more cards than pay grading fees. The card is the same card in an SGC or PSA holder.

If it's an item I really want in my registry and I find the example I want in a BGS/SGC slab, I'll sometimes cross it over.

    Never

I have never had the need, but if I had to have a card and it was in a non PSA holder I would cross it over.
