Coins from Dominican Republic.

Just checked into our hotel off the coast of Samana. While I am not planning to do anything numismatics-related, i will keep an eye out for shiny gold things during my dives.
Anyone likes DR coins and has some to share?

No. But I hope you have a great time.
Woot! Happy family and nice panoramas!
Would be cool if you found some error coins during local commerce. Have fun. Peace Roy

Hi! I have some, but very common coins. Keep it warm!
Beautiful family and beautiful location.
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
I find the older DR coins that are similar in size to their then US equivalents in circulation occasionally. The DR peso lost a lot of value in the past few years - good for tourism though as your dollar goes farther.
@TwoKopeiki Happy and safe vacation to you and the family! The pics are fabulous.
Thanks everyone. @IVB - nice Coins! The "wreck" ended up being a barge that sunk 15 years ago. No gold Escudos for me
I did use to own a few of these 1/4 Reales before from Santo Domingo.
