My Hawaiian pad is my favorite with koi pond; wood floor and high open beam ceiling.
But the termites like it as well and wouldn't be a house any longer by the next few decades ..... so I went concrete > @1Mike1 said:

Man I don't know. Anything can crawl out of that vegetation. It's so close to the water. I'm sure you'll be fine, though.
