Washington, D.C., (4/1/19): “The House Commerce committee today opened hearings on a set of uniform standards for coin, currency and sports card grading services to use when grading materials. Rep. Cheatem (D-Mass) stated that for too long the public has been victimized by overgraded coins and other collectables leading to significant economic losses. The new standards will assure that all customers of a grading service get a fair and honest evaluation of their material.”

April fools aside, if the government wants to actually do some good, the Treasury Department should start investigating and prosecuting those involved with selling Chinese made counterfeits!
