Looks like a rare "Kennedy Commemorative Petri Dish". I think your sample is growing quite nicely....
Well, not a proof but a cameo nonetheless...
I remember when I found this quarter, heart skipped a beat, and then submitted through Glenview Coin and Collectables.

IMO, some coins such as the Apollo coin design don't need mention of their Cameo. Coins from China and Australia come to mind. They look like Proofs w/DCAM yet they are considered MS.

Nope. It is what it is. Just don't think some coins should have "cameo" added to their description. Otherwise, many, many others should also.
I like to keep things simple. For example, If a coin looks DMPL, it should be called DMPL regardless of the jump in value. Today, some dates need to be Very, VDMPL to get the DMPL designation.
