WooHoo. Just added another Rattler Jefferson to my collection. Number 36.

First, thank you Ray (KindaNewish) for the heads up on this one. GreatCollections had an 1943-P MS65 Jefferson in a rattler holder in their auction tonight and I WON. Been a while since I've been able to add one to my collection. This brings me to 36 with 28 different, including an MS63 1943/42 in a rattler. I am always on the hunt for these and appreciate any and all leads.
The picture does not include the last 2 purchases and includes an 1959 Proof in a Doily.

That’s where all of them are going 😡. Been trying to buy one that’s not priced at 5 times guide but never can seem to find them. Congrats on an awesome collection of old rattler Jeffersons
I can’t believe I missed it. I was bidding, then forgot about it. It went too cheap!
Comgratulations
As mentioned before, very dark toning. Kinda ugly........but it is in a rattler.

Congrats sounds like a fun project, I'm a fan of the old holders from many companies myself.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
thx for posting the dark 42-S. I wonder if someone was eating fried chicken at a show before lifting it up and the fingerprints have long since darkened after slabbing. The photo does make it look like it could be a minor RPM.
Congrats and what a good looking set!
Bravo to your focus and discipline not very many possess.
