Wrong holder type for this Buffalo Nickel?

1937 D/D
The Holder type makes it hard to look at the D/D can’t really get a good photo and using loop I need to tilt holder. Love the coin but it’s destructive I may need to re-holder or maybe I’m being picky

The person placing the coin in the gasket had no clue on the RPM...but it may be SOP to position the prongs like above.

Had the same issue with this one last year. Despite phone call to customer service and a note attached to submission form, it was slabbed the same way as yours. Decided to live with it.

NGC holder may not have presented your coin any differently. Although I prefer NGC holders I was one who requested older style insert after the change to edge view style. They let me get old style inserts even after the changeover as long as they were still available. Of course eventually they were gone and I ended up reholdering into edge view style anyway. I still don't care for edge view inserts but have no choice now. By the way that's a high end 65 from my view.

It’s only an issue using a loop it gets blurry trying to look at mint mark with the plastic lip in the way I will most likely leave it I love the coin it fits the set I’m working on perfectly
