German Reich gold coin

Hello everybody.
Could somebody please give me some info
regarding this coin. It's the golden Deutche Reich 20 mark.
I can not find it on Internet (not this year ,1874) all I found are from 1875 and later.

HERE IS THE INFO YOU WANT.

however... YOUR your coin looks very shiny, like newly made in PRoC.
you better have it graded. before you do anything have it checked to see if it is gold
its worth around $ 300 if authentic.
you might also find details at Heritage archives.
    good luck

It's a 20 mark coin issued by City of Hamburg under the German Empire. I suspect some kind type of copy as catalog shows these as first issued in 1875, as you noted.

My books are packed up for a show. Has anyone checked to be sure it could not be a pattern?

I looked in both the Krause World Gold Coins and Krause German coins
and found nothing. I went to Coin Archives and AC Search which are auction
records research sites got "Goose Eggs". I would try to get in touch with the
auction house KUNKER they may be able to help. Keep us posted.

My first year impression was also that the surfaces were too perfect (that is, too nice) for a coin of this vintage.

German Gold coins from the 1800s have been used as models for copies in PRoC. Just ask any German dealer.

With all due respect to Rexfords wonderful 1910 mark, this coin appears even more real.
While it may well be a copy/concoction, I hate to dismiss it on grounds of being too well done
Well be anxious to see if certified.

    Love that Milled British (1830-1960)
    Well, just Love coins, period.
