WISH I could take a picture :(

I just got the most beautiful 1945 half dollar I've ever seen P/L surfaces wonderful colors and soooooo original it was still in the kraft envelope from 1945 wrapped in tissue with the inscription purchased may 1945 for 60 cents lol and I can't get it sharp with color on the photo :(

Two immediate observations: insufficient lighting, and unstable shooting platform.

you need to fix your focus and take the images from the to top
try it with a black BG in daylight. set th WB to auto.
these colors are caused by the kraft envelope. I recently bought some similar in those small , about 2x3 envelopes from the 40ties and 30ties. many coins were colored over time. some attractive, others not so. pennies turned purple and greenish.
I copied yours and tried to adjust it.. but the image has to be better and sharp, best high definition. My photo program could then possible get the original colors with one click.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life

Don't you give up this fast! Ok, try taking another image outdoors. All that diffused lighting can give a lot of options in highlighting the color on the coin! Don't tell @pruebas but I actually really like the reverse crowned arms design by Gorge Kruger-Grayon for that series.

From your excitement level, I believe that the coin must be splendid! As far as the photo is concerned, you just need to learn some basic lighting and framing tricks that are required for coin photography... Cheers!

It appears that you did not authorize PCGS to share the information from your submission (number 182368) so no one can look it up. However, your cert numbers would show up if you know them.
