    Try some acetone .. it's PMD

    Soak in acetone for a few days. Cover because acetone evaporates very fast. Oh, and no flames or kablooey!

    If I sook this coins or any coins in acetone and I found out that there is and error underneath. Would this affect the premium.

    I remember now that you have already give me that scoop, on a coins that had a similar residue. My memory has been affected after the car accident..     I would soak it in Goo Gone first. Then remove the soft residue with acetone. Much faster method. Don't rub the coin.

    Unlikely that it is mint grease. If that grease was on the planchet before it was struck it would have been squished flat by the dies. The grease on your coin looks raised, and covers design areas that were struck up.
