Show me a recent upgrade to one of your sets!

There's a handful of holes in my Morgan Date set but they're pretty pricey in the grades I'm looking for, and the others, tough to find the look I want... Weird place to be, so I find myself upgrading instead.

Here's a 90-S I picked up recently rather than fill a hole... much nicer than the '90-O that was residing there prior.

I purchased a bust half the other day which will likely replace the one in my box of 20.

    Nice morgan!

    When you gonna post pics??

Still waiting for the coin to arrive. I know a guy who might be able to hook me up with some pictures when it does.

Sending a package to PCGS later today. So my potential upgrades are yet to be determined. Its been quite a while since my last order, I am really liking the web submission. Really hated it at first.

I upgraded to this coin of Antoninus Pius recently which is arguably the finest known. It depicts the goddess Liberalitas handing out coins to the citizens as a way of thanking them, engendering loyalty, and spreading the wealth during the "golden area" of Rome:

    That's beautiful!

I'm curious though, what's its diameter?

Thanks! It's about the diameter of a nickel with the weight of almost a half eagle (~8 grams)

@SmEagle1795 you have an incredible collection of ancient coins and I always enjoy your educational summaries. Do you have some type of public album or registry for viewing your coins?

I have added nothing in a while. Waiting for a coin to free up that is a real tough one for my set.

OK. Now I'm complete with my Hawaiian set with the addition of this 1928 Sesquicentennial Commemorative Half.

I'd imagine your preferred set is full of stoppers after a while given general scarcity in MS, let alone PL/DMPL. Part of the reason I chose to only go with a date set and splash in a few DMPL's. Godspeed.

That's exactly how I collected my Morgans, a date set. I have two sets , one raw and one holdered. I also "splash" in a few DMPL's.

I want a DMPL some day... They can be quite the eye candy!
