2nd place gets choice between non variety Proof half 1962, 1981 D Jefferson BU DDR, or $0.50 face value US silver of my choice.

3rd place gets to pick from what is left

4th place gets what is left

Hard to tell from the pictures what are scratches on the plastic and not the coin. Did some research and NGC hasn't graded any of these lower than a 63, 63 pop is 8 and 64 pop is 34, so I'll say proof 64.

I do not see why it was graded so low. I cannot find any hairlines or problems with it. The scratches are mostly little marks on the holder and finger smudges.
This is one of the most elusive re engraved nickels, along with the 54 fs401.
There are other re engraved proof nickel varieties for 1953 and 54 not listed in cherry pickers.
