    If it is incuse then it might be a struck through of some type of foreign particle/wire.

    If it is raised it might be a die crack.

    Note: There maybe a part of it sticking up above the curve of the R.

    Thanks I’ve been working on taking better pictures. The lighting helps a lot. Plus change the batteries in my portable microscope. That helped as well. I will put this in a 2x2.

    Not a die break for sure. They are not smooth.

    Next, anytime you have something as this inside a letter, under magnification, take a splinter of wood and see if you can move it. If it does not move, I'm with the mark on the die guys.
