Guidance please

Hi all!

I posted a thread asking for grade opinions for an 1867 2 Cent piece. I wasn't able to figure out how place an image in the body of my thread. Would someone kindly lend me some guidance?

Thank you,

John

    Welcome to the forums @EScott83.

Drag and drop or copy and paste works.

    Hi Hemispherical,

    Thank you for responding!

When I copy and past nothing happens. When I drag and drop it just places the image location, not the image. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    John

and wait until a bar crosses the screen while it uploads, then an address shows up in the posting box.

You first have to save it to your hard drive (desktop?) and then using the above instructions browse to it. The "size" the picture is initially saved as will determine how large it appears in your post. You can use the testing forum to find what size works for you.

I use freeware Picasa 3 to download, edit and save my pics to the hard drive. During the save process you can choose the size to be saved. Picasa offers the basic editing tools, but unfortunately I cannot crop circles.

And once posted to the thread the actual picture will show up.
