I was having lunch at Red Rooster Drive in in El Paso TX. I said, I just want to drive MY car, she responded, it's mine in my name, I said YES but Tx is a community property state, and as soon as we're married I'll own half, By the way, WILL YOU MARRY ME? She finally relented and let me drive. I asked her every day, 3 times a day until 3 months later she said yes. I wanted to go across border & get married same day. This 3rd of July will be 54 years.
