Ebay Bonus Bucks question

Does eBay slow down the bonus bucks promotions after the bonus bucks have been given out? hoping you find something to buy without getting more bucks.

You usually see some sort of promo around the end of the month and the middle of the month. Sometimes even a few days after the beginning of the month. Whether you get invited or not is a different story. I don't know how they determine that.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

I do not understand what you are asking, I get 1% eBay bucks almost always and 'bonus periods' that are 8-10%. These are collected every quarter and are good for roughly a month after the start of a new quarter.

@pocketpiececommems I spend my eBay Bucks rather quickly after receiving them, but yes, some people do attempt to wait for the next-up bonus offer and attempt to "parlay" their prior winnings. Some have been successful in the recent past.

There was nothing difficult to understand about what you are asking, and there has been at least one recent thread on this very subject.

I cash them out immediately. Never know when the lights at Ebay may go out.

And to answer the OP, Bucks promotions do tend to slow the first month of the quarter.

I cash them out quickly, I was taught not to look a gift horse in the mouth.

I don't think the lights will go out at eBay anytime soon, but this eBay Bucks thing might be enough to jolt their stock price severely, sometime, some quarter.

I thought they paid out quarterly and expired before the next payout, in which case there would be no waiting to top them off.

In any case, like others I spend those suckers ASAP so I don't forget about them.

They pay quarterly but expire after ONE month.

    1. They pay out quarterly
    2. They expire after 1 month
    3. They usually have a bonus period before they expire but many people don't get that invite.

Use them if you find something you want and would miss out on it otherwise, keep it if you want to try to maximize it and you won't lose out on anything, but just be aware of the expiration date.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

It used to be that there were no bonus bucks promos for the month that one could cash out their prior earnings (at least from what I recall when I first signed up for ebay bucks). However, that has changed lately as eBay seems to have increasingly more promos.

It's not guaranteed, but I would guess we'll see at least one 8% (or 10%) bonus bucks promo this month. Like someone mentioned, it's no certainty that you will get it though.

Nothing slow about it. Bonus bucks are exactly that, a bonus. Enjoy the gift.

I prefer to wait for a deal with one of my saved sellers to buy face value US coins and US Bills as close to face value as I possible while getting more ebay bucks back.
    OR
Like now, I have non coin related items already in my cart waiting for the bucks to drop tomorrow.

They are likely available to you now. Mine were.

I use my eBay bucks immediately after receipt. Usually on an item getting it below bid or bv. Then the item put in my store at retail.

The other nite I bought 6 coins at auction for $371, cdn bid $448. I keep track of this (fav reval, purch perfx) to keep Opex (fixed period cost) down to $1200 annual or zero (mo budget $100).

Buying it right is like the offense line push, then the rest is up to the rest of the offense to beat the other defenders and score.
