Regarding Variety Attribution
What are the proposed actions to take in order to improve efficiency and accuracy of Variety service at PCGS?
Is there or will there be a Variety attribution “team” or finalizer? More than one person to review a variety?
Will PCGS consider actively recognizing additional “Minor Variety” Coins that are recognized in other professional platforms. Such as doubled dies, Mintmark varieties, enhanced detail varieties?
Will PCGS consider a Variety Attribution service based on high quality customer images submitted electronically
Will there be editing and adjustments to CoinFacts for accuracy?
Even if not eligible for registry participation, more “Minor Variety” Coins could or would possibly stimulate or accelerate hobby interest and company revenue.
