On a different post some asked what was in some of my other boxes. I sold my almost complete Merc dime set about a year and a half ago but kept some because I was intrigued to see if I could build an all gold CAC set of Mercs in old holders. That extended to locating old slab boxes to hold them, which then extended to collecting old NGC holders and boxes....you get the picture
So while none of the coins are necessarily earth shaking, here is what I have accumulated so far.

Between the rattlers and the fatty holders I have most of the Mercs in gold CAC and many with FB. Since there are many years with no gold CACs or no gold FBs in gold I figure I can enjoy working on the set for the rest of my life.

Nice collection, if it were up to me I would keep them in the old holders with the old box because they look cool Thant way together.
