I might have something here.....

I think for the most part I could tell the difference from machine doubling vs. doubled die....then again, I could be wrong.
Here it goes, trying to photograph some coins for my friend and I notice this slight doubling. Coin is a 1959 D Lincoln. I tweaked the contrast a little bit high to make the doubling more pronounced and converted to black and white. Am I seeing it right??

Md if that.
Thanks! But when I read the description, it is only referencing light spread and extra thickness on ONE CENT and Initials.
This one is not much but still pretty cool to find.......
Your coin might be a led counterfeit by looking at your pictures.
Just a little slide, a very minor form of machine doubling. It is very common on cents. Now that you have seen it on one you will notice it on others more.
Thanks! So much more to learn!
Bingo!
