Thanks very much PQeue and jwitten. The examples that were given were so small I couldn't tell.

Click here and see the helpful comparison PCGS put together, this should help you learn how to spot the difference.

They have many of these comparisons on Coinfacts for varieties but unfortunately they're not easy to track down unless you know what you're looking for. I've asked PCGS customer support to create a repository for them but I don't think they have the resources available to do this at this point. @HeatherBoyd - Just a suggestion I've had that would benefit a lot of collectors, and would maximize the work that the people at PCGS put into these infographics...

There are several markers that differentiate the old die from the new die. The easiest one for me is the distance of the arrow tip from CA in AMERICA. It's closer on the old die and farther on the new die.

Sorry Smudge: I really goofed this from the start. It was supposed to be an Ask a Question. I thought when you got your answer the post would disappear automatically. I suppose by now you can tell I haven't done a lot of posting. I'll let it take it's course, thanks for your help.

Here is the graphic referenced by the other poster (should the URL ever change):

I agree with the others - new reverse.

Thanks @cameonut2011. The visual diagnostics helps me to understand and now safely saved on the forum.
