Bill Anderson of Paradise Coins

Just curious if Bill Anderson evacuated safely from the fire in Paradise. He has/had a b&m shop in that town.

anybody know?
If anyone knows, it would be Joe aka crazyhounddog.
Man I am a dimwit today. I have seen this thread a few times and only just now remembered that this is the coin shop I have done some long distance mail order business with.
Hope he is ok.
Here's Bill's website. I've run across his website before but haven't done any business with him yet. I hope he and his loved ones are all ok.

I called the numbers on the website but there was no answer.
On a related matter, have wondered if some of the coins that become lost over the decades have fallen prey to natural disasters such as this one.
hope that he is doing well and is safe in all respects
The web site shows pm prices as of 11/7/18. Something is amiss.
If he has any inventory left, he almost certainly has no access to it. No reason to update the website.
I checked the missing persons list here and he is unfortunately listed as missing.

He and his wife. Let's hope they made it out.
Guys, there's nothing left standing in Paradise proper. I'm hoping that they'll check in with the authorities soon.

I hope they are ok and just don't know they are on a missing list.

This is terrible news!
Pls post any updates anyone hears about.
I don't know what it takes to get on the list, but the longer they remain there the worse it looks.
Oh .... I hope they made it out ok
This makes me so sad. Paradise CA is such a tragic place right now. I read their story on the creation of Paradise Coins on their website, it was a wonderful life story, it's just horrible how your life can be pulled out from under you in an instant. I hope Bill and Penny survived, that's the most important thing.
Bill's a nice guy. I enjoyed dealing with him at the Santa Clara shows in the mid-1990's thru early 2000's. I'd been to his shop a couple of times.
Haven't seen him in a few years, but when I heard about the vicious wildfire blowing his town I have to hope he & his wife made it out safely.
This is sobering. Nearly 700 missing in this day of communication technology.
I do pray that all are well and are with family and friends even vacationing elsewhere.
The butte county websites show paradise coin was unaffected by the inferno around them.
Bill and penny Anderson were taken off the list of the unaccounted for a few days ago. I believe they contacted the sherrifs office to say they are ok. Also, none of the deceased have been identified yet. There's a strong likelihood everything is fine with the Anderson's and their coin shop.
Bill has an amazing inventory and great prices! PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE. IT WILL BE A LONG TIME BEFOR BILL CAN REOPEN HIS
Sorry for the Upper case. As I was saying, the authorities aren't letting anyone into Paradise right now unless they are medical and governmental. Their are no utilities functioning. Bill won't be able to reopen his shop for awhile.
@KentuckyLincolns thanks for the updates.
I would bet that a few 1894-S dimes were lost in the SF Earthquake.
Thank you @KentuckyLincolns for the hopeful good news and

I have received many high dollar Lincolns from bill at paradise. He charges just about grey sheet. Let's all try to support paradise coin when they reopen and help the local economy. Yes, he's a good guy too.
Thanks for the welcomes! Looking for slabbed 1920's wheat cents.
Bill A. emailed me today and will try to be back in business by Jan 2nd. Looking forward to Paradise Coins being back open! If you have any questions, let me know and I can put you in touch with him while the family is displaced.
That is good news and thanks for the update @KentuckyLincolns.

Thank you for the update and Welcome to CU family
That is good news.
Very good news.
Glad to know he and his wife are alive and well. Thanks Kentucky!
Excellent news! Both my brother ('88) and my best friend ('99) graduated Chico State; my business has close ties to a major business up that way... Too many connection; so many hurting folks.
