Resurrecting this thread - my oldest coin is now even older!
A batzen (quarter sized silver coin) from Salzburg, 1511.
It depicts St. Rupert is patron saint of Salzburg - and his container of salt (SANCT RUBERDUS EPIS) and crozier. The reverse has the year and the arms of Salzburg on the left, and the bishops on the right with text LEONARD ARCHIEPI SALZ.
