Some brightness to balance out the darkness...

As I work on my 20th century toned Nickels set, I noticed the 45-S Jefferson was a little dark, in my opinion, so I chose the 38-D to balance out the flavor. Thanks to @mach1ne for the special coin, as I will cherish it for years to come. Now I will hunt for the last coin in my set of 20th century toned Nickels: a nicely toned 1900’s V-nickel. (Note that the Buffalo did not cost a grand, as was listed on eBay. I bought it at a decent price under that.)

Nice! What does the obverse look like on the 45 S?

@Hemispherical actually, this set was pretty unplanned until I saw the 45-S listed and had to have it. Then I noticed the buff and thought hey, this’ll be a cool set to put together.
