The fellow in the clown suit is Enrico Caruso. He was a great great numismatist. He had some of his coin collection with him in San Francisco on that fateful morning in April, 1906! His valet saved the coins as well as nearly all of Caruso's personal effects!
As for Danny Kaye, I believe that we have had past discussions about whether or not he actually collected coins or whether he got his coins as some recognition of his sizable contributions to religious charities.

@Coinstartled Danny Kaye was a fine fine gentleman, I simply don't know if he was a numismatist. Lots of people who own many coins really don't make the cut.
