Heather Boyd is PCGS's Director of Marketing. I have no idea how long she's been with PCGS - but she didn't join the Boards until July 13th and didn't make her first post until Oct 16th. You may of missed it, it's buried within the RIP Disagree thread (3rd page), but I found its timing perfect and it clearly shows someone is paying attention. She also has a "perpetually at the top" thread highlighting PCGS's activities over the coming weeks. Four posts and 49 likes, she's doing something right. And besides, anyone who has a puppy named Butter can't be bad, right?
Anyway, the Board community is normally pretty welcoming to new members, but in reading the two aforementioned posts, only @asheland offered "Welcome to the Boards" wishes.
Welcome to the Boards Heather! It's great to have you.

It seems that what we lack in female representation here on the forum (and in the hobby in general) is more than outweighed by the power they have. Between ParadiseFound's spear gun and Heather's banning stick, the rest of us had better be on our best behavior. (I am not sure what special powers Kkathyl has but I'll bet there is something she can use to keep us in line).

While I do not have a vast collection of coins I have an affinity for Ike dollars, which, after starting at PCGS I learned is largely considered to be one of the ugliest US coins. My Ike collection is all in thanks to my great-grandfather who would gift one to me every time I visited.
You all may have noticed I have closed many of the non-coin related posts, per the rules of this forum, so, unfortunately, I will be closing this one as well.
