1839 originals are under seated liberty dollars on coin facts - restrikes are under the pattern section. Not necessarily consistent - 1804 restrikes are with the originals as are 1851&52 Seated dollars

I don't mind being called stupid, and it is your modus operandi to simply resort to name calling. You do it every single time someone disagrees or points out any flaw on a coin of yours. The coin in your OP is not CAC certified. It may be in the future, but it is not in the present:

A member asked me to read this discussion today and explain the differences to him. I told him I had not opened it before as I thought the differences were already published and I was not interested until I'm examining one of the coins. Then I saw this:

IMO, this member adds NOTHING to the forum. He leaves flags and disagrees while stalking members - I'm one. If I ran this forum I should have BANNED HIM long ago. HOWEVER, this time TDN crossed a line. The member be a host of other things I can't post here but I don't think he is stupid.
Color is a very important aspect of surfaces. There is a color change on the surface that ONLY this member pointed out possibly "pricking" the owner. A simple answer is that only the owner, PCGS, and CAC have looked at the coin "in hand." Overall, it is one of the nicest I've ever seen.

TDN Called the member stupid because he originally said "The coin in your OP is not CAC certified." Even though TDN has posted a photo previously of this same Gobrecht Dollar in an older PCGS Slab WITH a CAC sticker.
The OP's coin did have a CAC sticker. But was re-holdered, and had the cert number changed. So obviously he lost the sticker.

LOL, I can read and comprehend what I read.
VERY UNFORTUNATELY, we aren't allowed to call folks here "Stupid" or tell them what we really think.
When I make a STUPID opinion here and need to apologize and correct it no amount of name calling is going to be worse than what I think of myself.
In an ideal world what happened here could be handled by two members rather than continue as I'll bet it escalates.

Technically, I merely quoted Forrest Gump. But I’ll say this - if PCGS is going to allow stalking, then I’m gonna call the stalker a stupid head...

That's why I didn't feel I could throw the flag and trust me when I say I wanted to give it to one of you but there was no reason there either!
I wish a bunch of members who may this place so go would start reporting any undesirable folks so they could be warned. From what I've seen, there has been a general crack-down for the good around here this year. The unfortunates on my "list" have been behaving as adults.
PS It's lucky you sold your T$ set as a few changes (considered very insignificant by many) in the series will be in the next Gobrecht Journal.

Beautiful coin! One of my favorite coins ever.
Many of these that I have seen have major problems. It is getting harder and harder to find nice original coins like this.
The nicely toned ones I see generally start in the high 5 to 6 figures.

But we need a sticker to confirm that it wasn't a mechanical error!

Here's a hard mirror for ya. Not to steal from the OP, but 1839s come original and nice on occasion.
Well, just Love coins, period.
No - we take it to JD at a show.
The differences are well spelled out in their research published on the website
There are some good photos of die states for originals and restrikes, especially in the beak area.
The eagle’s beak on the reverse. There are some photos here from TDN but I’d need to dig around to find them.

CAC didn't like it either.
Like I said....stupid

Lots of us love the coin @tradedollarnut ! Let’s just enjoy the coins!

LOL, where did this come from? I'm curious, who are the haters in this thread? I cannot find any but maybe I'm just stupid.
