The OP coin and the one pictured by @Coinosaurus are definitely different coins in my opinion. The Chapman auction listing description sounds good for the OP coin though. So would this break the pedigree at Chapman/Elder?
Also, Chapman mentioned "one of four". Are there four of these coins known with the Rittenhouse pedigree?
I also find the pedigree idea a little odd given that the more recent owners seem to turn them over so quick. Hold it in your collection/family for a few generations= great pedigree. Hold it for 5-10 years, sounds like a business holding and dealing not equal to a pedigree. Just my opinion on the perception of the pedigree thing.
That said, one has to keep track of the who is who to know which coin is where to help establish the continuity of the coins history and it's known origins, that is if one truly cares about the coins history. I always find it interesting when viewing a nice rarity on the forum and how everyone can cite who had it and when.
I would quote way under $100K if I stoleripped acquired that from you at my number. Who cares what any of us paid? I'm just trying to get Tiger Woods something he can use to mark his ball. He admires a clean divot.

Does this mean from here on out we should refer to DIMEMAN as "DI(S)MEMAN?
It wasn't clear to me you owned the coin and were passive-aggressively fishing for offers
How about $38,925?
It would dismay me
