<3 I decided to adopt the rest of the family <3

They made a lovely addition to my flower Sac <3 and of course I am fully aware of the degree of their popularity or their lack of.
BTW they'll make a good conversational piece over the next cocktail party B) or simply ... just nice to see them together <3
Please share your best piece :)

I like it! I am still mad at myself ..... of letting go a wheat penny yesterday as part of the change. I saw it in the flash but my mind was slower by a tach.

    They're underrated, IMO. Too bad.

That's a beautiful set! I have loved the original Sac $ since its inception. Terrific design on BOTH obverse AND reverse. In my opinion, it's one of the best renderings of an eagle on any U.S. coin. The talk of a 2019 GOLD Sac $ is very intriguing to me. Would love to see it!

I love everything about the coin except the government’s extreme reluctance to retain $1 paper currency. Sacagawea was born and lived in a little remote corner of Idaho (is that redundant?). As a younger person I spent many memorable days chasing deer & elk in those hills & valleys. It’s a magical place that hasn't yet been exploited by developers or cheapened by trendy airline magazine articles.

The design is easily the best the mint has produced in my lifetime.

    Agree.

I have been saying this for years. Tom Rogers accomplished this great rendition of an eagle in flight even while complying with the mint's requirement for low relief coins that had better "coinability" in production.

You are officially the SAC Girl now PF~! Yes there is talk about a real gold Sac next year-not to be confused with the Native American coin. How about a gold Susan B Anthony dollar??? I'm waiting for the gold Peace Dollar in 2021.

I like it. Orders of magnitude better than the SBA. "Little Pomp" (Jean Charbonneau) the baby pictured on her back is buried not too far from me. He was in his sixties when he died. I stop and pay respects now and then when I'm driving by that area, and add a few coins to the offerings on his grave.

Modern coins don't always get the love they deserve (disclaimer- many don't deserve any). I however have always liked the SAC design. Especially since it was not a reused design like those on the bullion coins. Thanks for sharing.

I now feel the urge to write a satirical "Three Perfect Days in Some Remote Corner of Idaho" article (United customers will appreciate this) centered around masking your scent, tracking your quarry, and field dressing your kill. Want a spa treatment? Put mud on your face and wash it off in a 40° stream. That'll wake you up fast and invigorate you for another perfect day on your adventure. Locally and responsibly sourced fruit? Pick the blueberries from the bush your buddy didn't pee on.

I also agree with @BryceM 's assessment and like his romantic take of that area.

I like your presentation box and coins. Your struck through coin is interesting too.
I do collect these and have a pretty complete set - missing the Cheerios and the wounded eagle.

The eagle is so natural in his flight ... having the art work fit in such a space contraint :)

It's the best thing you could have done was to match those up with the "Flower Sackie". I always liked the Sacajawea Dollars.

My only complaint about them is their low relief. It makes the baby in her "Papoose" look like it's growing out of her back.

I am enjoying the history behind them; it's amazing how having a coin prompt the interest to learn more.
