Who broke the Forum?

Trying the TDN posting approach.

Bad timing for the forum to crash.

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Me too. Hopefully not a sign of things to come due to changes in PCGS leadership.

The forum either crashed or was taken down for awhile this afternoon. There was a time where we were facing a world without this forum We have no way to know for sure. I have not found a forum as active and engage as this one. There is a lot of networking and friendships here. If this forum is taken down, do we have a backup to go to? Maybe we should. This leaves a couple questions to ponder.

1- What will be the fininical impact (negative /positive) to PCGS if they take the forum down? Or if we just went elsewhere.

2- What would be the fininical impact if folks lost interest in the PCGS registery? There was a time when there was not an internet or registery. I remember those times. Many of you may not.

I think an non-PCGS independent registry would work. In some ways, I think there need to be both a successful forum and a registery. I am not sure one would succeed as well without the other.

    Well said @Currin.
We tend to not appreciate things until they're gone or even out of service for a short period.
