VDB Not Just For 1909?

I was looking at the new RP Cent very closely and discovered VDB on the obverse, lower left arm, just above the rim. Then I grabbed a penny from last year, same thing. How long has this been going on? Talk about micro letters.....these are really tiny.

    Since 1918???? Yikes, feeling dumb, I really missed this. I guess I've got to look a little closer....what else am I missing? I think I've got to get a better magnifier so I can really get a good look.

    Well, some of the Ike dollar folks insist there are golf clubs, balls and other paraphernalia intentionally made part of the reverse of the Ike dollar. All I ever saw was KIlroy looking over the rim of a lunar crater.... :)
