I’m not sure that is quite right. On other eBay promos, as long as I listed the item before the deadline, the discount still applied if it sold after the deadline.

I just spoke to a e bay concierge member, she said this was a special promo, not like a 20 dollar flat fee for any dollar amount sold. she said it ends tonight at 12 pm, she confirmed this with her boss
According to the terms on the ANA promo card it definitely implies that as long as you list up to 5 coins before the Aug. 28th deadline, there will be no FVA fees., and what ends at midnight tonight is the chance to begin your listing of up to 5 items. Correct?

Yep, special promo. not your regular "activate" situation. As noted above sales under the promo do not even show up in your account activity under "fees."

I personally have got my promo running after the expire date on the 20 flat rate fee promo, the 8 and 10 percent usually go out at least 10 days, but I never run them after that, would lose money with no e bucks help
I just listed a few coins via the ANA promo but didn't see any "7 day duration" option. When I finished it just said something like "good until sold or cancelled". So can I leave those listed through 7 days, or 30 days if they don't sell sooner and still get no final value fees or only until midnight tonight?

you got about 4 hours to sell for no final value fees, at midnight I will be raising all my prices by 10 percent
Ok. Well I thought (see my post Aug. 28, 5:11 PM above) that you only had to list your items before tonight to have at least 7 days to sell them with no FVA fees. I guess I'll just cancel them later tonight. What a waste of time.

It's pretty black and white. The way I read it is, you simply list items between the beginning and ending dates of the promo. The first 5 items that sell that were listed during the promo period, qualify for the no FV Fees. There is no sunset date after that. It's simply the first 5 items that sell that were listed within the promo dates.
The eBay Bucks promos for selling, actually list dates in which the item needs to be listed by and then sold by to qualify. This promo lists no such sell by date.

Meanwhile you might want to raise your prices (and then lower them on the listing if the promo continues to work).
