Does anyone here participate in any Instagram coin raffles?

I see a bunch of them on Instagram, people winning one ounce silver coins for a 6 or 7 or 10 dollar entry fee.
Was just wondering if these are legit/worth it.

1 oz silver is worth about $15 so a $10 raffle ticket does not sound like a very wise gamble.
Better to just buy silver if you want it.
These sorts of raffles have been around for ever well before instagram. I’m sure a few are legit but given the anonymity of the internet I’d be skeptical.
How does one send the organizers the $7 or $10 entry fee?

If I were a gambling man I'd rather put 10 bucks in scratch offs.
Most tend to ask for PayPal gift.
I’ve seen plenty of people on there doing raffles. Some appear legitimate and have plenty of satisfied customers. A few have gone rogue and ran fake raffles. If someone likes to gamble, a raffle may be for you. Otherwise just save up the money and buy the desired coin outright.
Heck no! I don't follow any rafflers as they are way too common and very annoying. Most raffles are $3/spot with 10 spots of $5 a spot with 6 spots. If you calculate the total amount people are getting on average $30 an ounce for a round of silver. Absolutely insane and I don't understand why people play.
The most recent one I saw this morning was 10 spots at $2 a spot for 2 well circulated walkers. Unfollowed.
Winning a early panda proof for $5 does sound tempting and way better odds than the scratch off someone mentioned in a previous post lol
