Am I the only one that can't figure out the GC auction archive?

Search something simple, like "Paramount" - no results.
Any and all suggestions appreciated if you've got the knack.

Love GC but the archives are very difficult to navigate.
Are you searching under keyword search? This is what came up for me when I did it just now:

I guess I only have a certain number of characters to work with...but there is a whole page listed.
They should just imitate success; HA is a lot easier.
I like GC, but I really don't like any of their interface. I bid on almost all the coins in a single category. It takes no time on Heritage, but the number of clicks I need on GC makes it very time consuming.

Hallco:
Thanks - I left all the grading service boxes unchecked along with CAC since they weren't pertinent.
When I include them, I'm able to find the results you've noted.
Strange system, for sure.
Was looking at it yesterday. It's almost worthless. It returns a list of possible matches listed by grade, and by date of auction within the grade, most recent first. The filter for current auctions is even worse. I try to filter by country with a max date of 1970 to get rid of the modern bullion items and it does nothing.
Here's a screenshot of what I found using the 'paramount' keyword after clicking the 'Coin Auction Archive' link at the top of the homepage (I left all the other parameters at the defaults, just typed in the search term)...
The Sold items are listed on the left-hand side of the screen and the Upcoming items are listed on the right-hand side grouped by grade. If a group has more items than what's displayed, click on the group heading and the page will begin to refresh and expand the group (i.e. if I click on '65 (148)' on the Sold side it'll expand out and show me all 148 results). You can hover over the camera icon for each listing and see the first pic or click on the listing and see the original sold listing (though I would right-click and choose 'Open link in new tab').
Hope that helps.
That does - thanks!
I agree, it takes forever to figure out how to use their historical auction search.
It will probably be useful if we let @ianrussell know its clunky for users.
I don't use the "coin auction archive" at GC. Instead I use the normal search box at the top left of the of the screen.
If you type in 'paramount' and hit search it will return a list of the current auction with 'paramount' in the title.
On the left side of the screen you can then select the button for 'completed items' and hit the go button.
Make sure you hit the go button at the bottom of 'narrow your results' box.
It will then bring up a list of all past auctions with the word 'paramount'.
You can then make additional selection in the 'narrow your results' box and hit the 'go' button again.
You can also sort the results by clicking on the column headings, like title or price.

If you add all of the coins to your watch list first, you can then place bids on multiple coins with a single click from the watch list tab.
You can place multiple items on you watch list by selecting the box on the right of each coin and then hit the go button at the bottom of the page. You have to select the go button at the bottom of the page before navigating to the next page of the listed items or the selected items will not be added to your watch list.
Bingo - same here. Works great!
