    Gary M. Brown
    GMB Foreign & American
Was a dealer in Florida that was always at the local coin shows along the East Coast.

When I was in elementary school and middle school, he would teach me at the coin shows about things to look for on currency and coins. Always was a nice guy. Now I'm older and can afford to buy more stuff and I'd love to thank him for always being kind to a little kid.

I remember Mr. Hargis was a grader at Anacs with Mr. Campbell and Mr. Fahey who are still graders, not sure about Hargis. What happened to JT who was memorable with the golfing hat while promoting the old ICG? There were others at ICG then too, Walt Armitage for one.

AFAIK, JP Martin has not been at ANACS for at least a year! I have not seen his name on the ANA Seminar catalogue either.

I don't think the info on John Maben is current either.

I'll call MCM and ANACS tomorrow. I believe I will come up empty. That's why I started this discussion looking for current info. Thanks.

No need to call MCM, Mr Maben left that firm as CEO in 4/15.

After that he became Independent Consultant

Thanks everyone. I got my questions answered. Apparently JP is on vacation. Good to hear Hunter is still kicking and John is living in Sarasota.

I hope someone can help about Mr. Brown for the other member. :)

Maben is 100% still around. I have seen him at shows. I don't think he owns the big company any more.

Yes, Maben is still in Sarasota.

Here is a question, Koynguy. Will Anacs consider returning to the old, small white holders. A lot of love here for those things!

I love those old, small slabs-I wish they'd return to them.

He contacted me maybe 5 or 6 years ago wanting to partner up in an alternative CAC type business. I’m a risk taker but I have my limits

Has a website with customer reviews posted as recent as this week. Maybe things worked out.

    Where is Mark Hooten ?

Had a PhD but difficulty with finding regular employment. Eventually decided to join the Army and become a physician. Had an amazing collection of Buffalo nickels he sold to help finance Med School, etc.
