I contacted PCGS on these a few days ago. I have yet to hear back from them.

1) I have noticed that some of my blue PCGS boxes will hold the newest slabs and some won’t. I am only referring to the first and last slots in each box.

Anyone else see that?

Some of my boxes work fine. Not all. I am using PCGS boxes for PCGS slabs. They should fit.

2) Can the images uploaded to the inventory in the registry be reordered once uploaded. I have some slab shots and some coin only shots. I want to change the order so the same image is shown in the inventory screen.

It's a known problem.
First loaded, first shown. Must reload to change order.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed these were the answers I would get..

Any pattern old vs new on which PCGS boxes work the way they should?

New slabs are a tight fit in slots 1 and 20 in all blue boxes. I have been able to force them in place, but requires unreasonable effort to get them out. Not sure if PCGS is working on a fix or not.

I have found that the slab fits fine if you turn it around. Not ideal by any means, but a workaround.

I do have a blue box I received last week that the new slabs fit fine in.

...maybe the new offering of quarterly special with the free PCGS box if you submit 5 or more coins is the new fix...maybe the spray paint expanded them a bit?...all in good fun but if it doesn’t fit...you must ______

You just flip the last slab backwards and it fits in there.

The boxes I have were from online dealers, not from PCGS directly, so I have no idea what is old and what is new.

First and last makes everything else easier.

I showed this to a B&M dealer here in town who thought I was a dumbshi_r_t. He looked at me like I turned water into wine. Our relationship has changed drastically haha.
