Did 5 oz or 10 oz Engelhard Bars ever come factory sealed in plastic.

    I have several 10 oz Engelhard bars in plastic and “assume” they were factory sealed but do not “know” for a fact. I don’t recall ever seeing a sealed 5 ozer.

    I’ve had several 10 oz bars in plastic as well.

    Yes, I see sealed bars on eBay but wonder if they are factory sealed by Engelhard?

    I would think many collectors seal their 'special' bars to protect them.... Cheers, RickO

    I DNT think poured engelhard bars came sealed except maybe the ones that came is box or display sets. The newer 10oz machine pressed bars did however. I've had quite a few

    They did, the newer struck types, I've seen many over the years.
    Many however over the years have gotten brittle and split open so many have been discarded.
