Taking my son to visit UT next week, so might have some down time to visit a coin shop or two. Need some recommendations for coin shops in Austin, TX. Thanks.

One close to campus is McBride's on Lamar (next door to a gun shop, BTW!).

Hook 'em Horns, in advance. :)

Not sure how long you are going to be in the area but there's a small coin show scheduled in Round Rock on the 21st.

Village coin on McNeil is good if Brian decides to open the doors that week. Chad and Beckey at Capital Coin and Bullion on Burnet always did me right and probably the closest to UT, although they are more about bullion then collectables. South Austin Coin Exchange on Slaughter lane, Bradley I believe. There was also a small shop in Round Rock and one in Pfleugerville that were fair, sorry don't remember names it's been awhile. Personally I would stay FAR and away from the shysters at McBrides but that's just me.

The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
