I know some of you bought bullion in the coin category and some flipped it for a quick profit, good job. Now show me some eye appeal.
I decided to go only for eye appeal. My mission was to max out the $500 ebucks with the very best eye appeal offered at the best price for that eye appeal. This took two full days of searching and negotiating. I ended up with 6 certified error coins. This was very hard work. Here they are .....

Not sure, eyeing some things.
Do I get five $100 major error coins, or one $500 major error coin, or take $500 off a 1000 to 2000 dollar major error coin?
Whatever I spend it on, it will have to match my inventory, so it will be nice.
Here were mine - 6 of the gold coins, 1 drill.
i though b/s at first but with the line to the left of the coin and the hair looking like some original underneath to the left. perhaps incomplete strike and then b/s?
i know you've probably seen more b/s coins than i although i've seen many, that concentric line, the hair and the letter ghosting at k12 and while we are at it, the concentric broken line around the right side of the obv seems to line up with some other part of the possible first strike.
could just be the modern minting process for such an error vs the 99.9% that i've seen which are much older.
.
edited to add, i will tinker with some images for further analysis.

well, here is precedence. i don't recall seeing a duel error broadstruck either due to not having an eidetic memory or never having seen one because they are that scarce.
notice the doubling on the south of the coin especially. - i noticed the doubling before the holder so i feel a bit better about my initial analysis of a possible duel error you have.
Scored 15% off this one with a coupon but not eBay bucks. Had bad pictures but could see the potential. Was listed in the collectible category so was able to use the 15% coupon that excludes the coin category.

Picked up a modern gold commem that brought $2400 in 2010 for $20 over melt after the rebate!
I wonder how many Ebayers sold stuff to themselves during the promotion.
I love that double struck double date Roosie!! That is one amazing coin.
