Stamp Collection, what do I have?

TrevTrev Posts: 333 ✭✭✭

Same old story here, I am from the sports card section but have acquired a stamp collection along with one of my lots. Any information would be super helpful. Mainly wondering if anything notable stands out or is this a pretty common collection?

Thank You!

Unfortunately, it looks like there's nothing really notable or valuable.

You might be able to get a couple dollars for each of the "Overrun Countries" (Czechoslovakia, Poland, Luxembourg & Denmark) blocks, and the US Flag 10-stamp strips. Same with the Confederate States of America stamps (far-right in the third row, and stamps 2, 3, 4 & 6 in the fourth row) in the first picture, and the two $1 Official Mail stamps in the top row. Heck, those 2c green and brown George Washington stamps, from 1883 and 1887, are only worth around 50c-75c each in used condition.

All the rest, I would use as simple postage.

The .10 cent CSA is a fake from 'altered plates' and suspect all 4 of the CSA's to be not original but re-prints.
