Heritage Auction has been postponed:
Auctioneer (6:47:27 PM CT): Tonight’s auction has been postponed until 5pm tomorrow evening due to technical difficulties. We will begin bidding again with lot 7510. Any bids previously placed on lots 7510 - 8088 will be maintained. However, please be advised that bidding will be reopened in the interest of allowing those who were not able to bid to participate. Thank you for your patience.

Yes, ALL the even numbered lots are being skipped. Must be a software malfunction. Heritage is going to have major headaches from this catastrophe

I believe Heritage is in the process of fixing it now. :) 2 thumbs up for a prompt response from them.

Heritage is a good company and glitches happen, but I might be a little upset if I was a consignor.

This auction was a trainwreck from the start. Started at least an hour late. I did win one coin on a prior internet bid, but several that I was watching never showed up on my computer. I am glad that I did win one, and maybe I got it cheap because of the glitch. But I was not able to bid on several others. I think that the consignors took a real on this fiasco.

    OINK

  • Here's the itinerary for the postponed Heritage auction:

**_Due to technical difficulties, Session 6 of Sunday night's Long Beach Expo US Coins auction has been postponed until 5:00 PM CT tomorrow evening, Monday, February 26. We will begin bidding again with lot 7510.

Note: Lots 7510 - 8088 will be reopened in the interest of allowing those who were not able to bid to participate. If you have any bids, winning bids included, on these lots your bid will be maintained when bidding is reopened.

Additionally, we are rescheduling session 7 of the Long Beach auction, to 2:00 PM CT Tuesday, February 27.

Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

    Sincerely,_**

I blame it on the 20% Buyers Premium.

There is a FLAG for these situations. PLEASE USE IT!

We learn nothing from "disagrees" without comment. Additionally, IMO a "Disagree" on a post with a simple notification as above or due to personality clashes in the past is abuse and it does not belong here!

For the record, I'm neutral as @ArizonaRareCoins <3 and I B) have had our disagreements in the past.

I think you are right. They might need 25% to find a new IT crew

    Martin

Maybe IT people are outsourced to India ?? 20 % juice?? forget it.... some consignors are going to take it in the pants

I agree with the taking it in the pants. Perhaps heritage should make it right with the full 120% going to the consignors For the effected lots
