Thanks for removing an overgraded coin from the marketplace

Yes it was, the grade mattered for my grading set, I promised to post a thread with the results, no need to complain the responses mainly from one poster speak for themselves. That does not make the grade on the holder the most important thing to me.

The coin is now graded AU-55 by our host.

That's all I can say about that.

shish I know exactly what your going through I just had a similar experience with our host. But I have 20+ more coins going through grading right now as I speak and I dont want to say anything that could jeopardize those coins. I LOVE MY HOST'sI

I will share more later this year.

I had an 1860-o Seated $1 in a PCGS oh MS61 holder I sent in on a guarantee submission after Gary Adkins said that collectors liked those less toned and flashy and that the toning looked terminal like env. damage almost. I got a nice note from PCGS that the toning looked ok to them with good luster, etc.. Who knows, you may have gotten that verdict or the downgrade with a check, but don't expect to come out ahead on the deal.

Thanks for sharing, in this case your correct, an additional check produced an accurate and unbiased evaluation of this coins condition. Unfortunately this experience makes me question whether our host is administrating their grading guarantee in good faith. Was the $850 dollar difference in value a factor in their decision to not lower their grade?
